Ferrara is the city of bicycles. And at L’Annunziata, we couldn’t just say it: we decided to live it, every day.
Even if you’re not staying with us, you can rent one of our twelve city bikes and set off. No maps, no rush. Just you, the city, and the slow pace of your pedals.
Because by bike, Ferrara is a completely different place: You don’t just visit it; you experience it. Like a true Ferrarese. The city walls, the majestic Certosa, the hidden alleys… these are places you can only truly discover this way.

But we didn’t stop at bike rentals. We wanted to create a space that is truly designed for people who get around by bike. Our STOP & GO charging station is now located in the courtyard of the annex: a safe space with video surveillance that also serves as a bike storage area for guests.
Here, you’ll find: Schuko outlets for e-bikes, tools for minor maintenance, a professional pump with a pressure gauge, and water available at all times.
A little pit stop in the heart of the city.

And then we added one more feature. Our LUGGAGE STORAGE & RECHARGE service: We have 16 lockers in our library room (13 standard lockers + 3 larger lockers) where you can leave your luggage and charge your devices in complete safety.
This service is also open to everyone. You don’t have to stay with us.

And finally, something simple but important: In the lobby, you’ll find a free water dispenser to fill your water bottle. Because being bike-friendly isn’t just a slogan. It’s a collection of small, practical services.

We’re working on it. And that’s not all.
For now, one thing is certain: at the Annunziata, cyclists are truly welcome.

Stop&Go

An extra service to welcome the biker guests.

In front of the hotel, we have realized a STOP & GO BIKE POINT fully equipped with:

2 schuko sockets for E-Bike and charging point not only for the bike, but also for smartphones and electric wheelchairs.
maintenance tools: Phillips and slotted screwdrivers, 0/22 mm roller wrench, 14/15 mm and 12/13 mm fixed wrench, tire removal levers, 2.5/10 mm Allen key set. The tools are attached to the column with stainless steel cables long enough to reach any part of the bike.
Professional anti-tamper pump completely in steel for tire inflation with universal connection and pressure gauge with pumping capacity up to 8 bar.

Storage luggage & Recharge

Enjoy the day in Ferrara, without luggage! Rent one of our boxes at our hotel.

We have relized 16 nice and colorful boxes, located in our library room, 13 boxes of 70x45x25cm and 3 boxes of 70x45x50cm, all equipped with an eco-sustainable electronic lock inside a schuko socket for recharging your devices.

The charge for the service is € 5.00 for the single box and € 8.00 for the double box… per day-

BIKE STORAGE

We have a safe deposit for your bike in our dependance 130 meters from the hotel. The cost is € 5.00 per bike per day and includes these services:
