Hotel Annunziata is located in the heart of Ferrara’s historic center, in a pedestrian area, right in front of the Estense Castle. It is also easily reachable by car for luggage loading/unloading by communicating the license plate at check-in.

It is a 4-star home design boutique hotel and the first Hospitality Hub Hotel in Ferrara, open not only to guests but also to locals and passing tourists, with services accessible to everyone.

Does the hotel have a dépendance?
Yes, it is called Prisciani Artsuite and it is located in a 14th-century historic building, 110 meters from the main hotel. The spaces are modern and design-oriented like the main hotel, but with more privacy. There are only 6 rooms, of which 4 are 60 sqm loft suites with frescoes and also a Technogym point. It does not have a lift (23 steps). Check-in, breakfast and services take place at the main hotel.

Modern and functional rooms, finished in oak, suitable for different budgets and needs. Larger and brighter 60 sqm loft suites are also available in the dépendance. You can choose from: 5 standard, 10 superior, 3 superior castle view, 3 castle view suites, 2 superior dépendance, and finally 4 loft suites in the dépendance. Sizes range from 16 sqm to 60 sqm.

Does Hotel Annunziata have accessible rooms?
Yes, Hotel Annunziata is fully accessible for guests with disabilities — only the dépendance is not accessible. Please contact the reservations team to indicate your needs.

Are pets allowed?
Yes! Dogs up to 15 kg are welcome. A supplement of €10 per day applies, which includes the Welcome Kit (bowl, mat, snack) and extra cleaning.

Does the hotel host cultural events?
Yes, Hotel Annunziata hosts cultural events such as exhibitions and digital displays, inviting artists and photographers to set up works in the hotel lobby.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, we welcome small dogs up to 15 kg. Understanding that they are part of the family, we guarantee a comfortable stay also for them by providing a “welcome dog kit” in the room upon arrival. The supplement is €10.00 per day to ensure a high level of room cleanliness. We also have an area in the breakfast room dedicated to guests with dogs to enjoy breakfast together.

What is the “Wow Breakfast”?
It is our buffet breakfast with over 170 products, including options for celiacs and vegans, described by guests as “an incredible variety of options and quality.” It is also open to external guests by purchasing breakfast fiches.

It is a bar dedicated exclusively to the aperitif, with over 30 variants of artisanal Spritz, unique and rare, served also to non-resident guests, with a view of the Estense Castle. You can also taste local craft beers such as Liquida and Lost Road, and a 56.5° gin tonic.

Does the hotel rent bicycles?
Yes! With the “Rent a Bike” service, you can rent a city bike to explore Ferrara. In the dépendance, you will also find a Stop&Go station with pump, schuko outlets and tools for small maintenance.

What does the “Luggage Storage & Recharge” service offer?
16 colorful and secure lockers in our Library Room to store luggage even if you are not staying at the hotel. Each box has an electric outlet, Wi-Fi, and water included.

What is the “Guest Share Hub”?
It is a free sharing service among guests for small forgotten items such as chargers or glasses.

Is it possible to have breakfast at the hotel even if you’re not a guest?
Yes, breakfast at the Annunziata is also open to external visitors. We have created special fiches, similar to roulette tokens, that can be purchased or gifted to enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Is it possible to store luggage at the hotel even if you’re not a guest?
Yes, the hotel has lockers for luggage storage also for non-guests. Afterwards, you can also rent one of our city bikes.

Is it possible to download guides with information about Ferrara’s restaurants?

Yes, we have eliminated almost all plastic and offer a free dispenser of still and sparkling water.

We also collaborate with Wami: each can of water consumed donates 100 liters of water to those without access.

Every month, the hotel donates to Bosco Integrale to fund social and environmental sustainability projects.

 

What is the SI4FE project?

It is a program that allows guests to give up daily room cleaning: the saved budget is allocated to environmental and social community projects.

We have several small projects that bring sustainability to life:

  • SI4FE – by choosing Hotel Annunziata, your travel footprint is lighter, because by giving up room cleaning, we invest the savings into environmental and social sustainability projects.
  • Wami – whoever drinks our canned water donates 100 liters of water to families without access, funding water wells.
  • Refill – we removed all plastic by installing a free water dispenser to refill bottles or buy our own.
  • Courtesy Set – we joined Marie Danielle’s Zerowaste project: an eco-sustainable amenity line with no waste, zero disposal and reusable primary packaging.
  • No Paper – we use QR codes for hotel information.
  • Mobility – we installed a service station for guests and cyclists with pump, tools, and two charging sockets for e-bikes, plus rental bikes.
  • LED Lighting – all lights are LED or low consumption.

  • 5–9 rooms → free cancellation within 8 days before arrival.

Yes, with the Takyon resellable rate you can transfer the booking to other users until the day before check-in.

 

Is it possible to access the ZTL?
