HOTEL ANNUNZIATA has become the first HOSPITALITY HUB HOTEL in Ferrara. We have made the hotel “open” to tourists, locals, and cyclists who are not staying at the hotel by creating a range of new services to meet new needs and preferences.
Our rates include: a generous breakfast buffet with 170 high-quality items and gluten-free options, Wi-Fi, taxes, and service.
The tourist tax is not included and is €3.50 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Our guests can enjoy a bar with an outdoor area offering a stunning view of the Estense Castle.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR UP TO 4 ROOMS
Guests can change or cancel their reservation free of charge up to 72 hours before the day of arrival [e.g., for arrivals on Saturday, cancellation is free until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday]. In the event of a no-show or a cancellation subject to a penalty, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 5 TO 9 ROOMS
Guests may change or cancel their reservation free of charge up to 8 days before the day of arrival. In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 7 days of the day of arrival, the cancellation fee will be the full amount of the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR STAYS OF MORE THAN 6 NIGHTS
Guests may change or cancel their reservation free of charge up to 8 days before the day of arrival. In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 7 days of the check-in date, the cancellation fee will be the full amount of the reservation.
EARLY DEPARTURES:
In the event of an early departure, the guest will be charged for the entire booked stay.
ADVANTAGE RATE:
Reservations made at the ADVANTAGE rate cannot be canceled or changed.
EXTRA BED POLICY:
Children 0–1 years old: stay free of charge (crib available upon request)
From 2 years of age: €70.00 per person per day.
HOTEL ACCESS: access allowed by car in the limited traffic area ZTL to arrive in front of the hotel from 08.00 on the day of check-in and until 14.00 on the day of check-out, only for those who have to load /unload luggage/people in front of the hotel. At the time of check-in it is necessary to communicate the license plate number of the car to the front office staff. For all other cases, for failure to communicate the license plate and outside these hours, the hotel is not responsible for any fines. Only the license plates of the cars arriving in front of the hotel will be sent to the competent body for access to the ZTL, as the competent body only exempts those arriving in front of the hotel from entering and exiting. Furthermore, the hotel does not pay any fines for abuse of authorization to access the ZTl for having transited several times in restricted traffic areas as in any case the fact of respecting the highway code is in force.
PARKING FACILITIES: we can provide a special ticket at € 7.00 per day to leave the car in the nearby public area with blue lines on the road (excluding Piazza Sacrati and Piazza Sant’Etienne). Alternatively we suggest the Borgoricco multi-storey car park with 100 parking spaces that is located in a street behind the hotel (150 m. walking distance from the hotel).
ANNEX BUILDING ACCOMODATION: if you have booked a superior annex room or a suite loft dependance we remind you that these types of rooms are located in an historical building at 130 m. walking distance from Annunziata Hotel, with check-in, check-out and breakfast buffet at main hotel building. This historical building has no elevator to reach the main floor and you will find a 23 steps staircase: furthermore luggage porter and room service are not available for this building.
BIKE RENTAL: you can rent bikes right at the hotel at special prices.
PETS POLICY: at Annunziata hotel dogs are allowed with prior notification in all rooms. The cost of the dog’s stay is €10.00 per day, per dog (max. 2 dogs per room). This daily extra charge is due both for a welcome dog kit and for an adequate, thorough daily and final cleaning and sanitization (extra cleaning, accurate hair removal, etc.). Small and medium sized dogs are allowed, they must not exceed 15kg.
BE SMARTER SAVE PLANET: now at the front office you will find a still and sparkling water dispenser at your complete disposal. You can drink as much water as you wish without any consumption of plastic. We will give you the paper cup as a gift, and you could also bring the water to your room. Or you can buy one of our Hotel Annunziata branded water bottles from 24 Bottles for only € 16.00. By purchasing your water bottle it will always be with you … and the environment will thank you. Finally, for those who want room service in the minibar, they will find a returnable glass bottle of Norda Company at € 5.00. We think that dumping the word “sustainability” on the ground involves either sacrifices or extra costs and we believe we are on the right path.

LUGGAGE STORAGE & RECHARGE: enjoy the day, without luggage! Rent one of our boxes inside our hotel. We have created 16 nice and colorful boxes, located in our library room, 13 boxes of 70x45x25cm and 3 boxes of 70x45x50cm, all equipped with an eco-sustainable electronic lock inside a schuko socket for recharging your devices. The cost of the service is € 5.00 for the single box and € 8.00 for the double box … per day 🙂
“BITTER SPRITZ bar” is the new idea of the Hotel Annunziata dedicated to the aperitif only. Our drink list is totally dedicated to the spritz. At the BITTER SPRITZ bar we decline the spritz in more than 20 variants with bitters and some amaro all rigorously artisanal. A different spritz with a breathtaking view that will make you fall in love with Ferrara and quality bitters
RESTAURANTS ADVICE: at this web link CLICK HERE you can download our own list, created by Zeno, where we have listed the non-touristic trattorias and restaurants, where we “the local ” usually go and where you can find both a Ferrarese menu or meat and fish, equally typical dishes of our cuisine. This list could change during the year based on how they work and based on your feedback, precisely because we don’t have any agreements with them.

MYFECARD Tourist Card: it is the tourist card to visit Ferrara, a pass that gives you a unique experience, saving time and money. A ticket to visit the city’s museums and monuments and the city tax is free during your stay at the hotel (free nights will depend from the type of MyfeCard bought). UNFORESEEN EVENTS AND MALFUNCTIONS – We are aware that sudden inconveniences may arise and create discomfort. Therefore, we apologize in advance for any service disruptions, as we are unable to provide 24/7 repair support but only during the authorized working hours of the maintenance staff supporting the hotel. Hence, in the event of unforeseen events, we will make it our priority to ensure daytime maintenance interventions. We are committed to constantly improving our services to guarantee our customers the best comfort during their hotel stay.
